Alien Invasion!!

Uh-oh! Alien's invaded our classroom this morning! They played some eerie music, tipped chairs upside down, drew on pictures of teachers (to turn them into aliens!) and hung lots of spaceship and alien pictures around. Zog, the alien, left us a note and he told us that he had some exciting alien activties planned for us. The first activity was to make an alien headband to make us feel more 'alien' and the second activity was to make some gooey alien slime! The children thoroughly enjoyed making the slime and used lots of glitter and food colouring to change it. This links to our Literacy this week as on Friday we will be writing a set of instructions on how we made it. Also, we have written about what the slime does when someone else touches it and will be writing a recount of what we did on Thursday, to help us write the instructions.
