Basic Life Support

Date: 11th Mar 2018 @ 7:21pm

This week, year 5 were fortunate enough to have three medical students visit us again and the children were all very excited about what they might learn.  Therefore, they were thrilled to discover that they would be learning about basic life support - something that could even save somebody's life one day.

They learned all about the recovery position and when it is safe to use, CPR and how to do it effectively and the steps that you should follow should you find yourself in an emergency situation.

The children all learned an awful lot and thoroughly enjoyed the session, asking lots of excellent questions.  We look forward to our next visit.
