Cave paintings

We have had a fabulous afternoon in Class 3. To link our Art and History topics, we made our own cave paintings. First, we learnt about what the caves were like during the Stone Age, then we observed some well-known caves around the world and discussed the paintings on them. We learnt that most caves had paintings of animals and handprints on them.

Sneakily, Miss Henderson had put pieces of paper underneath our tables! We turned the lights off, used torches and drew our pictures as if we were in a real cave; we had so much fun! Although, we did do our paintings on the table properly so that we didn't get paint on our faces!
