Ice experiments

Date: 19th Jan 2018 @ 8:29am

In Science this half term we are learning about winter and spring. This week we have been learning about ice. The children completed a team task in which they had to melt their ice hand in order to retrieve the hidden letters. Once they had got the letters from within their ice hand they figured out the mysterious word.

The children then conducted an experiement, exploring the temperature inside and outside the school building by comparing the changes that occured to ice. The children made some excellent predictions and the results were that the inside ice hand melted quite a lot whilst the outside ice hand remained completely frozen.
