Maths trail

Date: 19th Jul 2018 @ 11:09am

Class 3 went on a Maths trail around Collyhurst this morning. We were so surprised to see that Maths is literally everywhere around us! As soon as we stepped out of the school gate, we saw cubed shaped objects, circles, triangles, diagonal, vertical, horizontal and parallel lines. We ventured into Collyhurst and observed the different patterns and shapes on the houses and buildings, looked at bus timetables and then observed different cars that passed us on Oldham Road. As a treat, because we had been so good, Miss Henderson let us have a play on the park :). We have had a fabulous morning and enjoyed seeing just how much Maths is all around us.
