Owl Babies

Date: 19th Oct 2018 @ 10:49am

This week Reception found a very unusual parcel in the classroom, we thought it was very suspicious! The label said "To Reception, from ?" We couldn't think who it could possibly be from! When we opened the parcel, we found a feather, a twig, a leaf and a note that said "Please look after me". After having a good think about who we could be looking after, we found a tiny owl baby at the bottom of the parcel! We all took turn introducing ourselves to our owl baby to show how friendly we are. We then wrote to the owl baby telling him our names and made missing posters for his mummy. The next day the owl baby left us a message but it was all jumbled up! We put the sentence in the right order and found that it said "I am a baby owl." We looked really carefully at each word and now most of us can organise and read the sentence all by ourselves! We worked so hard to look after our owl baby, we hope you enjoy our photos :)!
