Science & Medics Week 2

Date: 9th Nov 2017 @ 7:43am

This week the children found out how long it takes for blood to travel from the heart to different parts of the body. They drew around a member of their team and worked together to calculate the time it takes blood to travel from the person's heart to their toes and back again!

Working with the medical students this week, the children learnt about breathing and the lungs. They all practised being doctors and what it is like to administering asthma medication via an inhaler (there was no medication in the inhalers the children used!) The children learnt the scientific names for the respiratory system and were able to label diagrams.
