The Rainbow Fish

Date: 5th Oct 2018 @ 3:33pm

This week Reception have really enjoyed our story The Rainbow Fish. We have thought carefully about the meaning of the story - how important it is to share and be kind to others. We have taken on the role of different characters from the story by doing a fun new activity called Hot Seat! This is where we pretend to be a character from a story and together we think of questions we would like to ask the character. We all took turns being the Rainbow Fish and the Little Blue Fish and thought of how these characters would feel in different parts of the story, please ask us some of our new words we have learned! In art we worked together to make a class Rainbow Fish where we practised colour mixing to make each beautiful scale, please pop into Reception to have a look :)! We finished our week of the Rainbow Fish by making some delicious biscuits, unfortunately they were just too delicious to share!
