What have we been up to this week?

We've had another busy, yet fun week in Year 3! 


In Literacy we have been learning all about Yeti's and deciding whether we think they are real or not. In Maths we have been finding fractions of amounts and equivalent fractions. In Science we have grown our own cress seeds! The children need to observe what happens over the next few days (if they could take photos this would be fantastic!). 

Also, we have been helping build our new Forest School area for the Foundation Stage. The children thoroughly enjoued getting stuck in and getting very muddy! 

The children have been doing so well with their swimming sessions. The swimming teachers can't believe that they are only in Year 3 and are so confident already. Some of the children have already got their 5m, 10m or 25m certificates.

Well done to Tyler who is this week's Star Writer!
