What is Stonehenge?

Date: 8th Oct 2018 @ 3:12pm

Today we have been learning all about Stonehenge, a famous monument which was built during the Stone Age.

Some interesting facts we found out were:

  • It is a very famous stone circle in the South of England (Wiltshire).
  • They built it using only stone, rope and wood.
  • It was built during the Neolithic period (around 3000BC).

Then, we made our own version using bourbons and custard creams. Miss Henderson kindly let us eat some afterwards too!
