Willy Wonka's chocolate factory

Date: 24th Apr 2017 @ 12:36pm

This morning (Monday) class 3 received some very exciting letters! Inside the envelopes were letters for each child and Golden Tickets. The letters were from Mr Willy Wonka inviting them to visit his chocolate factory in the Rainbow Room. The Golden Tickets guarenteed entry. Vishakh and Tyler didn't have a Golden Ticket to start with as they had a special entry, which meant they got extra free sweets. The children were so excited when they walked in and saw all of the sweets and the giant Wonka bar. We watched a video of Wonka's chocolate factory (from the film) and imagined that ours looked like that.

The children wrote compelling diary entries about their morning and were really inspired by the chocolate factory. We will also be writing letters of reply to Willy Wonka to tell him about their visit. A great morning had by all :-).
