Autumn 1: Week 2
Date: 13th Sep 2024 @ 7:00am
We have had such a busy week, and I forgot to take pictures!
In English, we have been celebrating Roald Dahl Day by learning about The Twits. Firstly, the children made some great inferences about who they thought they were. Some children thought they were witches, others thought they were pirates, some even thought they were nans and grandads! They then came up with excellent adjectives to describe them, such as: scruffy, dirty, stinky, smelly, and ugly, and wrote character descriptions.
In Maths, we have continued to explore numbers to 10 through daily counting, making different numbers on tens frames and counting different objects.
The children have started their geography with Miss Spencer and have learnt about the differences between human and physical geography.
