Wraparound Care

We now provide wraparound care for children from 07:30 to 17:30. 

Early Bird Breakfast Club

Abbott Community Primary School is proud to be in partnership with Magic Breakfast, providing healthy breakfasts to our pupils so that they are settled and ready to learn.

Magic Breakfast provides Abbott Community Primary School with nutritious breakfast food to ensure children start their school day in the best possible way. Breakfast gives children the energy needed for the busy school morning, enabling them to focus on their lessons. 

Early Bird starts at 07:30 at a cost of only £30 per half term.This cost is for any amount of regular use over the weeks within a half term. For example, for £30, you may attend every day within these times, or you may choose to use it only once or twice a week.We are able to provide this care at such a low cost, as we do receive some funding towards this. Breakfast is included.

No one will be admitted to Breakfast Club after 08:30

We serve:

• Fresh fruit juice

• Cereal & milk [Weetabix, Rice Krispies, Cornflakes, various other cereals]

• Porridge

• Bagels [choice of toppings: cream cheese, strawberry jam, chocolate spread, lemon curd]

• Occasionally, we also have mini pancakes with syrup, crumpets or toast

Night Owls After School Care

After-school care starts at 15:30 and will finish at 16:30 (£5.00 per session) or 17:30 (£8.00 per session). This is significantly cheaper than a local after-school childcare provider, where the cost of after-school club provision is £17. Within this time, children will be given a teatime snack, will be provided with a range of activities and will have access to any age-relevant extracurricular school club that is also on that evening.

All Wraparound Care sessions must be pre-booked through School Spider.
