Autumn 1: Week 4

We have had such a busy week, this week! In English, we have started to read The Bog Baby. The children have written beautiful setting descriptions of Bluebell Woods. In maths, the children have learnt how to find one more and one less of a given number, which they've understood well. We've also started to learn how to use < and > to compare numbers; this is something that we will continue to practice next week as it is quite tricky! We have now finished our science for this half term, with the children distinguishing between the 4 different seasons. 

We celebrated European Languages Day by finding out what languages are spoken in our class: we were surpsied at how many! The children then coloured a flag of their country to go towards a whole class display.
