Aviation Workshop

Year 5 enjoyed a brilliant workshop all about jobs in the aviation sector. We enjoyed listening to and learning from an aerospace engineer, a flight safety officer and 2 people from Manchester Airport. We learnt about the parts of an aircraft, the safety of airplanes, how much energy it takes to run an airport,  the designing of the next supersonic aircraft and much more. The children showed great interest, were asking some incredible questions and as you can see, lots of fun was had by all!
