Button Patterns

Over the past few weeks, the children in reception have engaged in a variety of activities designed to develop their fine motor skills. One activity the children really enjoyed was using buttons to create vibrant patterns by carefully placing them on different chalk lines. This activity required focus and precision, helping to strengthen the children’s hand-eye coordination and dexterity. As they moved the buttons onto the lines, they learned to manipulate small objects, which is an important skill for tasks like writing and drawing.
