Chinese New Year

Class 2 have enjoyed celebrating Chinese New Year. We learnt about the tradition of the Wishing Tree, where people write their wishes on wishing paper and attach them to oranges with bright ribbon. These are then thrown into the wishing trees, if they land in the tree then it is believed that the wish will come true. We wrote our own wishes and then went outside to throw them into the trees. We hope our wishes come true!
