Class 2 were learning about the Hindu festival, Diwali. We listened to the story of Rama and Sita and learned that Diwali is known as The Festival of Light. We designed our own Mehndi patterns using Q-tips and paint. Some of the children also shared how they will be celebrating Diwali with their families.
