Today the Nursery children have been exploring pumpkins! We talked about our own experiences of handling pumpkins, many of us have been carving spooky pumpkin faces at home with our grown-ups as we celebrate Halloween! We cut the pumpkin in half and began to use large spoons to scoop the seeds out of the pumpkin. The children were using amazing vocabularly whilst they explored the pumpkins such as slimey, slippery, and sticky.
