Pumpkins and Potions

Today, the children returned to school with a bang, diving right into our exciting new topic: 'Celebrations'! This morning, we started with a sensory exploration of pumpkins and the children were amazed by their unique textures. We were so impressed by the fantastic vocabulary the children used to describe how the pumpkins looked and felt.

The fun continued as the children engaged in making their own potions. Inside the classroom, they combined various items to create unique concoctions. Meanwhile, outside in the mud kitchen, some children embraced nature, using mud, leaves, grass, and water to whip up their magical mixtures.
