This week, the children have enjoyed learning all about their bodies. They have learnt the names of lots of different body parts. To do this, they went outside, drew around a team member with chalk, and labelled as many body parts as they could. We have also started to explore the 5 senses. The children learnt that there are lots of different tastes (sour, sweet, bitter and salty) through tasting different foods. It is safe to say the doughnuts and crisps were the most popular, and spinach was the least popular! The funniest reactions were definitely from trying the lemon and lime!! Next week, we will explore the other senses by going on a sound hunt around the school, exploring 'feely boxes' and identifying different smells.
